If ‘domestic’ is USA, then Priceline and Hotwire are probably best. However, you should do a quick, thorough price shop using a source like BookingBuddy.com first–to avoid over-paying if there are any good offers on that you’re unaware of.
Be aware that Priceline and Hotwire tickets do not show travel times until you purchase–so you must have an entire day at both ends of your trip. And of course, if it’s a short trip, then these 2 sources are probably not a good idea.
Also consider the alternative airlines that don’t show up in the main booking sites–airlines such as Southwest, Spirit, and Allegiant Air.
